Soundwave and Stage-Dive by ZeroMayhem Soundwave and Stage-Dive by ZeroMayhem
Soundwave and Stage-Dive having fun!

This is Soundwave from the SGU (Shattered Glass Universe).

Transformers Wiki for more info: [link]

Stage-Dive however is my own fun little unofficial fan creation :)

Stage-Dive (Heroic Decepticon)-SGU (Shattered Glass Universe)

Bio: Stage-Dive was always more interested in having fun than fighting the evil Autobots. His desire to find new things that, in his words "Dominate" led him all over the galaxy. Eventually he found his way to the planet Earth were he discovered his greatest passion, Earth music. Stage-Dive was enthralled by the planet's many diverse musical genres, his favorite being the various iterations of Punk. It was during this time of personal/musical exploration on Earth that he met up with Soundwave. Stage-Dive sensed a kindred spirit in Soundwave and a renewed sense of purpose in himself. He recommitted himself to the heroic Decepticon cause (going so far as to paint his own custom Decepticon symbol), and now travels with Soundwave fighting against the evil Autobots and those who do not rock.

Abilities: Due to an odd variance in Stage-Dive's manufacturing/protoform his endoskeleton and superstructure are 4x more impact resistant then normal. This allows Stage-Dive to withstand falls from great heights along with any direct impacts with virtually no damage. This has led to Stage-Dive's odd penchant of jumping off of high structures (and even out of ships) with reckless abandon. In battle he thrashes about striking any Autobot unfortunate enough to enter his field of vision, as Soundwave puts it, Stage-Dive is a "one bot Mosh Pit".

Weapons: Stage-Dive carries with him modified twin micro-grenade launchers. Each one fires Stage-Dive's own custom magnetic gravity grenades. They adhere to any metallic surface and give off a low level gravity pulse (drawing in near by debris) before exploding in a pyrotechnic light show of destruction. According to Stage-Dive, he made the weapon modifications after seeing several Earth concerts. He wants his bombs to be the loudest and most colorful explosions around.

Weaknesses: Stage-Dive's desire for fun can sometimes derail other Decepticon's plans, particularly any plan involving stealth. He tends to make his presence known to anyone by either sight or sound. In addition Stage-Dive has bitten off more then he can chew many times (due to his confidence in his high durability). This includes engaging in battle with Autobots more then twice his size and missing one battle completely when he jumped out of a spaceship that had just entered a planet's atmosphere. The massive fall caused Stage-Dive to impact and drive himself into the planet's surface, getting stuck for more than a day and a half.

Just done for fun. Pencils and inks on Bristol board, colored in Photoshop.

Very cool! So I gotta ask. If SG Stage-Dive is a fun loving, tough, and likes to jump off of stuff. Does that mean regular universe Stage-Drive is a no-nonsense, brittle Decepticon who suffers from acrophobia?
