Back when the news of the new Transformers series started to come out we heard how Optimus Prime would be portrayed as a younger, less experienced leader. Now while the new show's designs have been shown I still couldn't resist the idea of creating a new Optimus.

So my take would have to be considered from a yet unseen Transformers universe. I ended up referring to this series as FF when I saved the art files to keep them separate. "FF" standing for Full-Force, thus the name Transformers: Full-Force Optimus.

The main ideas I wanted to play up was that this was a young Optimus (not Orion Pax, for those of you in the know). This was an Optimus before he became Prime. Not as brash as say, a Hot Rod type, but still a quicker, more dynamic, perhaps even a bit more ruthless then his more aged counterpart.

The vehicle mode is a four-wheeled Cybertronian car of sorts (yes four wheels, the front two in a row and two separate ones in the back).

I also wanted to play with the colors a bit. More darks, more red in places that are usually blue on Op (like the head and legs). Overall I didn't want him to look like any other Op out there, but still evoke a Optimus feel on some level.

Also the whole idea started with me just wanting to put his smoke stacks in a strange place.
